It’s hard to believe, but there’s only one month left to register for the 2026 ILCA Under 21 World Championships, taking place from January 17-24, 2026, in the stunning Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, Spain. This is your final opportunity to be part of one of the most exciting and prestigious sailing events in the world!
With 96 ILCA 7 sailors and 52 ILCA 6 sailors already confirmed from 34 countries, the championship is shaping up to be a truly global event. Athletes from all corners of the world – including Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Europe, North America, Oceania, and South America – will converge in Lanzarote to compete, showcasing the true universality of the ILCA class.

We’re excited to announce additional opportunities to make the most of your time in Lanzarote:
- Pre-Regatta Training (January 12–16, 2026): Arrive early and get some valuable training in the same waters where the championship will be held. This is the perfect opportunity to fine-tune your skills and get to know the venue before the main event kicks off.
- Lanzarote International Regatta (January 30–February 5, 2026): After the World Championship, continue your training and competition at the Lanzarote International Regatta. It’s a great way to extend your stay in the Canary Islands and keep the momentum going.
Please note, these two events are not organised by ILCA, but it offers another excellent opportunity for sailors to stay competitive and engaged in world-class racing conditions.
