It’s a wrap! ILCA Asian Cup 2026 Qinhuangdao concluded successfully on 15th June with 8 races sailed in a variety of wind and weather conditions.
The final race results saw sailors across the different ILCA Asian districts cinching their positions on the podium in 5 divisions and 5 sub-categories.
The first prize winners of the ILCA 4 Youth U18 Boys & Girls also win for themselves free entry & free boat charter for ILCA 4 division in the ILCA Oceania Championships to be held in January 2027 in Sandringham Melbourne. This is an exchange programme between ILCA Oceania & ILCA Asia Regions, where the Oceania Champions of ILCA 4 boys & girls from the 2026 edition will join the 6th ILCA Asian & Open Championships this December with a similar free entry & free charter boat arrangement.
ILCA Asian Cup also features a group prize for the Best Performing ILCA Asian District and Best Performing ILCA Asian Club. For this event, the winners are:
- ILCA Asian District Cup – CHN
- ILCA Asian Club Cup – TPE
The 4-day ILCA Asian Cup has set the stage for Qinhuangdao as host of the 2027 ILCA 4 Youth World Championships. Participants can also come to join the 2027 ILCA Asian Summer Training Camp and ILCA Asian Cup 2027 QHD prior to the Worlds.
