Day 5 at the ILCA Master Worlds: Results Shake Up After 3 New Races

2025 ILCA Master Worlds day 5

Formia, Italy – 26 September 2025

Day 5 of the 2025 ILCA Master World Championships in Formia delivered one of the best days of racing so far. Under clear skies and steady conditions, the Gulf of Formia provided an ideal stage for top-level competition.

With winds ranging from 6 to 10 knots, all fleets completed three races, making it a spectacular and decisive day on the water. From today, the championship fleets were split into Gold and Silver divisions, raising the intensity and sharpening the focus on the overall standings. The steady breeze allowed sailors to showcase both speed and tactical skill, with consistency proving crucial across the extended race schedule.

Energy was high both on the water and ashore, as the successful day brought the championship closer to its conclusion, with the rankings now taking clearer shape ahead of the final stages.
