Formia, Italy – 25 September 2025
After a day lost to calm conditions and another disrupted by stormy rain, Day 4 of the 2025 ILCA Master World Championships finally delivered perfect sailing weather in the Gulf of Formia. Under bright sunshine and a steady 10-knot breeze, all fleets were able to return to the water for a full day of racing.
Each fleet completed three races, taking full advantage of the favorable conditions. The racecourses proved to be technical and challenging, requiring precision and focus. Success today hinged on reading the course correctly, with many positions decided by smart tactical choices.
The mood onshore reflected the upbeat atmosphere on the water, as sailors embraced the opportunity to race hard after the previous interruptions.
With five races completed across all fleets after four days of competition, the provisional results (before Jury decisions) are as follows.
